Good morning, the school sustained some structural damage from the storms therefore it caused some leaks inside the building so we are using today to clean up the damage and verify everything is safe for school tomorrow.
MHS rising Freshman registration will be on Thursday, March 6th from 5:00 to 6:30. Please bring the folder with your child's paperwork. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Meadows.
Voluntary Pre-K program Kick off night - Thursday March 13 from 4:30-6:00 P.M/
Enrollment will be held at the school of your choice (AH Roberts, Allons, Hilham, Rickman, and Wilson). VPK is serves 3 and 4 year old children. Must be 3 or 4 by August 15th. Please see our website for more information. (Programs -> Voluntary Pre-K) or call the district office at 823-1287.

Concessions will be sold on Friday, February 28th.
Due to the ongoing icy weather conditions, Overton County Schools requested an additional virtual day from the state. This has been approved, and Overton County Schools will be virtual for Friday February 21, 2025
Overton County Schools will utilize their second virtual instruction day tomorrow, Thursday, February 20, 2025, due to the snow and icy weather conditions.
Overton County Schools will utilize their first virtual day tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19, 2025, due to the incoming inclement weather.
Eddie's bus, bus number 18-32, will not run on Monday, February 3rd evening route. Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up.
Overton County Schools are closed today, Friday, January 24.
Jason Looper's bus, bus number 13112, will not run down Muddy Lane or Jones Road. If you would like to ride the bus, you can meet him at the old store at 8:10am and 3:30pm that evening.
Reminder with a 2 hour delay School starts at 9:45AM. Doors will open for parent drop off at 9AM.
Bus 2041 (Earl's) will not be running cravenstown or cooketown tomorrow morning or evening.
